Spaceports Free Domains
Terms of Qualification
In order to qualify for a free domain name from Spaceports, the applicant must have a web site hosted by Spaceports and must sign up for the reimbursements program provided by Spaceports. In addition, the applicant must earn $50.00 in reimbursements before they will qualify for a free domain name. Applicants are limited to one free domain name registration.
Free domain name registrations are good for one year. At the end of this term, the applicant may request a renewal of their free domain name for another year if they have earned an additional $50.00 in reimbursements during the one year term.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications or who already have a domain name and wish to transfer it to Spaceports may do so through redirection.net for a nominal fee. Spaceports will not cover the cost of the domain name registration or renewal for applicants who do not meet our qualifications to receive a free domain name, nor for domain names transferred to our service or otherwise registered in advance by the applicant.
Free domain names registered through this agreement may be transferred to a web hosting, server co-location, or dedicated server package offered by Tera-Byte Dot Com Inc. at no additional charge.
Once the applicant has received a free domain name, they must display our banners "above-the-fold" (within the first screen on a standard browser in 640x480 resolution) on their web site. Banners for other services are not permitted on their web site.
Domain Name Registration Agreement
Domain names registered through this agreement are the sole and exclusive property of Tera-Byte Dot Com Inc. and may not be resold or transferred without the express written consent of Tera-Byte Dot Com Inc. Tera-Byte Dot Com Inc. reserves the right to charge an administrative fee for the transfer of a domain name and/or refuse the transfer, registration, or renewal of a domain name for any reason at its sole discretion.
The applicant agrees to give Tera-Byte Dot Com Inc. exclusive rights to the domain name and any associated trade or service marks of the domain name. In addition, the applicant affirms that the domain name is not in violation of any existing trade or service marks, and the applicant agrees to cover any and all costs incurred by Tera-Byte Dot Com Inc. as a result of any litigation involving the domain name.
In the event that the applicant is found to be in violation of this agreement or our Terms of Service, the applicant agrees to pay Tera-Byte Dot Com Inc. the cost of the registration and renewal fees for the domain name plus unspecified damages. Tera-Byte Dot Com Inc. reserves the right to discontinue service to the applicant and retain the domain name at any time and for any reason at its sole discretion.
Terms of Service
Spaceports may only be used for lawful purposes. Any use of these services which violates any local, state, federal, or international laws which may apply to Spaceports, your local jurisdiction, or any jurisdiction that you or your site may be subject to is strictly prohibited.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Spaceports from any and all liability, penalties, losses, damages, costs, expenses, attorneys' fees, causes of action or claims caused by or resulting directly and/or indirectly from your use of the service which damages either you, Spaceports, or any other party or parties without limitation or exception. This indemnification and hold harmless agreement extends to all issues associated with your account with Spaceports.
Spaceports reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone at our sole discretion. Spaceports may deny you access to all or part of the service without notice if you engage in any conduct or activities that Spaceports in its sole discretion believes violates any of the terms and conditions in this agreement.
Spaceports shall have no responsibility to notify any third-party providers of services, merchandise, or information, nor any responsibility for any consequences resulting from such discontinuance or lack of notification.
Spaceports reserves the right to refuse to post or to remove any information or materials, in whole or in part, that, in its sole discretion, are unacceptable, undesirable, or in violation of this agreement.
Spaceports makes no warranties or representations of any kind for the services being offered. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of title, noninfringement, or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. No advice or information given by Spaceports or its agents or employees shall create a warranty.
Spaceports provides no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We assume no liability, expressed or implied, for any downtime for any reason.
If you are dissatisfied with Spaceports or any of its terms, conditions, rules, policies, guidelines, or practices, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue using the service. There are NO refunds.
You assume total responsibility and risk for your use of Spaceports and the Internet. It is solely your responsibility to evaluate the accuracy, completeness, and usefulness of all opinions, advice, services and other information, and the quality and merchantability of all merchandise provided through Spaceports.
Spaceports reserves the right to monitor any and all communications through or with our facilities. You agree that Spaceports is not considered a "secure communications medium" for the purposes of the ECPA, and that no expectation of privacy is afforded.
You agree that you as the person legally responsible for use of this account, are at least 18 years of age or have your parent's or legal guardian's permission before using our service.
You agree to adhere to these system policies as published online at along with any documents specifically linked with that document and mentioned as part of system policy, including restrictions on services available with each account type, restrictions on certain features, and all other policies designed to protect and enhance the quality and reliability of service at Spaceports. You agree to abide by any and all future Spaceports decisions.
Your use of the service is solely at your risk. Spaceports is not responsible for files and data residing on your account. You agree to take full responsibility for files and data transferred and to maintain all appropriate backup of files and data stored on our servers.
This agreement supersedes any written, electronic, or oral communication you may have had with Spaceports or any agent or representative thereof, and constitutes the complete and total agreement between the parties.
If any provision of this agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect and said provision shall be reformed only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable.
Spaceports will immediately terminate any account which it believes, in its sole discretion, is transmitting or is otherwise connected with any spam or other unsolicited e-mail. In addition, because damages are often difficult to quantify, you agree to pay Spaceports liquidated damages of $5.00 US for each piece of spam or unsolicited e-mail transmitted from or otherwise connected with your Spaceports account, or Spaceports' actual damages, whichever is greater.
