Hawkeye

Small in frame, Hawkeye would go unnoticed if it were not for his wizened, prematurely old face and his keen, ever-shifting eyes. Once a top spy in the underworld, this man was reformed by criminologist Slade Farrow. They first met in THE GREEN BOX and Hawkeye became an agent in THE CHINESE DISKS.

Hawkeye's main function was to secretly trail suspects. He was excellent at this job, and only The Shadow was better. Hawkeye also gave The Shadow another agent, beside Marsland, who could roam the badlands of crime and report after on impending activity. The two sometimes teamed in joining a crime ring.

Hawkeye's real name was not given and he worked frequently until the end of the magazine's run.
